Apartment renovation, Stockholm.
This appartment on Östermalm, Stockholm, went through a complete renovation. The great challenge was the bathroom with its narrow triangular planning and where our client wanted much storage space. To give the room a larger feeling we used big mirror surfaces and only white glazed tile. We created contrasts by chosing different finishes and sizes of the tiles – shiny mosaic contra big mat tiles. Storage was integrated in the walls by the washbasin and the bathtub. This was complemented by specially designed shelfs and cupboards. When we could not find the optimum sized washbasin that needed to be long and narrow, we had it made in marble.
